Angels
If you watched the episode of Dr. Who last night, you might recognize this statue in Central Park that played a small role in the events that took place. This is very close to the rock that Amy, Rory and the Dr. were perched on near the beginning as well as the bridge that he ran across at the end. I saw it all when I was there in September of last year. But I didn't see anybody famous hanging about when I visited.
It's a shame there's no more new episodes until Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThis Is probably NOT the kind of info you want, but there is a copy of Alice in Christmas Wonderland by Toby Deane on ebay -- they say it's in good condition ...
ReplyDeleteI have no personal interest (except I love the song)
This has been mentioned in other comments: some of last July's Christmas postings have broken links :-( (Episode 21 and 32)
ReplyDeleteWhich doesn't exactly bring joy to the Season...
Keep up the good work!
Yes, I know. They all worked back in July when I posted them. Hopefully there will be knew things for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHi Ernie:
ReplyDeleteI’ve just started a new blog on American Christmas songs and wanted to introduce myself. I’m an author and I’ve just finished a book on Christmas songs for the University Press of Florida (Fall 2013).
Right now I’m pretty ambitious, logging in three entries a week, though that will taper off after the beginning of the year (though I’ll maintain at least an entry a week). My twin focus revolves around American Christmas songs and cultural history.
I look forward to catching the new posts on Ernie (Not Bert) this season.
Happy Holidays!
Ronnie
