Gospel Week-Part 9

Not sure how Gospel week has grown beyond seven days, but here we are. And this time it's a rare ten inch record, so it's a little shorter than the ones I've been sharing. You've probably seen to organ recordings by Richard Keys Biggs, and that's what he plays here. But there are also plenty of vocalists here, and even a narrative structure to tie it all together. It's far from the worst thing I've shared with you this year, you might even enjoy it. This is Christmas...With The Richard Keys Biggs Family (International Sacred Recordings 10" 33 RPM LP 10,047 Transparent Red Vinyl, Mono).

1. Silent Night
2. O Little Town Of Bethlehem
3. Lo, How A Rose E'er Blooming
4. The First Noel
5. Shepherds, Shake Off Your Drowsy Sleep
6. Angels We Have Heard On High
7. O Come All Ye Faithful (Adeste Fidelis)
8. Coventry Carol
9. O Holy Night
10. It Came Upon A Midnight Clear
11. We Three Kings
12. What Child Is This
13. Silent Night

  1. Thanks Ernie! Looks like this LP was released in 1953, according to this 1954 publication (see PDF p. 12):
