Snap-On (Not Craftsman)

Here's an interesting share from last year, featuring a chorus of Snap-On employees. Hard to believe, I know, yet here it is. I can only imagine what would happen if they'd gotten these guys to appear on an episode of Tool Time. You can read more about this release at my original post last year, or over at The Yuleblog where the Captain reviewed it. But first, you need to download The Snap-On Male Chorus-Carols Of Christmas (RCA Custom Record Dept. SOLP 6363).

  1. What a phenomenal find! Snap-On this share! Minimal background music, but who needs it with this chorus? I have some old Red Army/Soviet Army Chorus and Band cds, and while this Snap-On album doesn't present any individual singers the way the Russian groups did (the 11 minute long track 5, Christmas Medley, does have a very minor solo at one point), I would stack these Snap-On singers right up there with the best of the Soviet choral groups of the same period. Mrs. Marjorie Morrow and Dr. Lucien Cailliet direct these singers with a true seasonal flair and talent! Thank you for sharing the music!
