The Ten Inchers Of Christmas-Part III

You guessed it, up next is a remaster of the other record from The Equitable of Iowa, this one first shared in 2011. This share is a remaster so I hope the sound is a little bit better for you. And again, this is a 10" record, slightly smaller and slightly rarer than those big 12" records I usually share. This is The Equitable Chimes-The Equitable Chimes Play Ten Of The World's Best-Loved Christmas Carols (Equitable Life Insurance Company Of Iowa 10" 33 RPM CTV-84282/3, Mono). There's some overlap between this one as the last one, but some of it is different.

1. O Holy Night
2. It Came Upon A Midnight Clear
3. Hark, The Herald Angels Sing
4. The First Noel
5. Joy To The World
6. O Little Town Of Bethlehem
7. Away In A Manger
8. O Come All Ye Faithful
9. We Three Kings Of Orient Are
10. Silent Night

  1. Hi Ernie, just a note. I tried downloading this file three times. Unzipping it two different ways. It seems the major problem, at least for me, is the main title you gave this share is...path is too long. I finally figured if I shorten the full title after Christmas Carols this allowed me to at least get the music extracted. But, the art work would not be extracted. So, I will try to shorten each of these artwork files separately. I hope no one else is having this problem.

  2. Hi Ernie, another note. I tried but cannot shorten the file names on the JPG files. My computer still says the file name is too long to extract it.
I sometimes run into this problem when backing up MP3s I purchase or name myself. Maybe there is a Character limit for a file name. They always say to shorten it.

    1. Could be. You can try to extract the file into a folder at the root of C with a short name, like c:/X/, I suspect that would work. But here's a download link with the folder name and file names already shortened a bit.

    2. Thank-you Ernie, the new shortened link worked like a charm. I look into the other method too.🙌

    3. It's a clumsily titled album. :(

  3. I remember this one, too! Nice cover, and the label can be read.
