Those Carols

I'd forgotten about this one, but it's an interesting record that tells the stories behind some of our most cherished carols.  Not sure if all the stories are still correct since new scholarship sometimes turns what we thought we knew on it's head, but it's a good start.  Sometimes we sing the same words for so long they lose their meaning.  Give it a listen and see if you learn anything. From the 2010 sharity season, this is Carols Of Christmas And The Stories Behind Them (Christian Home Music-Produced For The Radio And Television Commission Of The Southern Baptist Convention, PR4M-1528 & 1529, Mono, 1963).

  1. I do remember this. It doesn't matter if some of it may be a bit apocraphyl now with the updated research. It's still got a nice spirit about it. Thank you.
