Caroling Twice

Another oldie from the venerable Warner Bros label that hopefully I'm allowed to share with you.  No sign of this one on the usual streaming places, so hopefully it's going to be OK.  I remember it being a pretty good choral album, but that was a long time ago, so who knows how I'd hear it now. And by a long time ago, I mean 2008, so a good solid ten years.  Hard to believe I've been at it this long, well, three years longer than that, actually.  Time flies when you're having fun.  This is The Gene Lowell Chorus-Caroling, Caroling (Warner Bros. WS 1233, Stereo, 1958).

1. Joy To The World
2. The First Noel
3. I Saw Three Ships-O Little Town Of Bethlehem-Deck The Halls With Boughs Of Holly
4. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
5. Still, Still, Still
6. Adeste Fidelis (O Come All Ye Faithful)
7. Westminster Carol (Angels We Have Heard On High)
8. Silent Night
9. Merry Christmas One And All
10. The Wassail Song-O Christmas Tree-The Holly And The Ivy
11. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
12. Caroling, Caroling

  1. Ernie--

Thank you so much for sharing your awesome collection! I just discovered your blog this season and hope to continue finding treasure for years to come. There seems to be an inexhaustible supply of cool stuff that was put out in the 50s and 60s (my favorite Christmas music time periods). Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and thanks again for the big bag of mp3 presents! If I ever come across anything cool at a garage sale, I'll definitely pick it up for you! (Dave)

  4. I listen to this regularly at Christmas time when it was first, or second, shared. A great album with good voices and arrangements. Thanks, Ernie!
