Paul 1

From the land of shares that never got any comments, this went up in 2012 and then disappeared without a trace.  I suppose some records just don't find their audience, but I believe you should keep trying.  Of course sharing something out after Christmas is hardly the way to draw attention to a Christmas record, but I don't want to wait another 11 months.  This is Paul Mickelson Playing The Symphonic Carillon And Vibraharp-Christmas Bells (RCA Victor LPM-1115, Mono, 1955). Nice cover shot though.

1.  I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day
2. While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks
3. Jesu, Bambino
4. Joy To The World
5. O Little Town Of Bethlehem
6. O Come, O Come Emmanuel
7. Good King Wenceslas
8. I Wonder As I Wander
9. Away In A Manger
10. Hark, The Herald Angels Sing
11. The First Noel
12. It Came Upon The Midnight Clear
13. Silent Night
14. As With Gladness Men Of Old
15. There's A Song In The Air
16. O Christmas Tree
17. God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen
18. Lo, How A Rose E'er Blooming
19. Deck The Halls
20. Thou Didst Leave Thy Throne
21. Angels, From The Realms Of Glory
22. O Come, All Ye Faithful
23. We Three Kings Of Orient Are
24. Gloria In Excelsis Deo
25. O Holy Night

  1. More people need to remember that you don't stop posting at Christmas. Thank you very much for this one, and for continuing with the magic.

  2. More people need to remember that Christmas Day is the first day of the 12 days of Christmas, not the last day. Then maybe they would remember that Ernie is still posting!

  3. What a pristine sound! It rightly deserves the beautiful music one can find on this record. I like the cover too, maybe a bit dark for the topic though ;)

Thank you very much Ernie for sharing another wonderful album!

  4. This one takes me back to earliest memories. Dad recorded this album on open reel tape after the two Walter Schumann Christmas albums. We heard it many times each season. What a great transfer you made! Thank you.
