Down In The Grass

Have I shown you my grasshopper picture? I don't think so. I shot this guy out in a field near the Rye Road Bridge over the Manatee River. I know that most of you probably don't know where that is, but it's important. Why is it important? Because they recently rebuilt that bridge, and the whole little park are that used to be there is gone. So there'll be no more grasshopper pictures taken there. This guy is almost two inches long, and while they aren't otherwise dangerous to people, they hurt if they fly into you. Trust me.
