Kings Of Christmas-Part 2.5

Still don't have enough King Family for Christmas? Go get this bonus track I found last year. I'm not even going to get into the argument over whether or not this is a Christmas track... Here's Marilyn King-My Favorite Things from the LP The King Family Show (Warner Bros. W 1601, 1965). Good stuff...

  2. Nope, don't have it. However, if you go over to FaLaLaLaLa.com and search the forums, I think somebody shared it out last week. Or they shared out one of the versions. There seem to be more than one. Good luck!

  3. I have a random question for you Ernie: any idea why the album cover has a small, metal ringed hole in the upper left-hand corner? (You can see it in the full size scan.)I picked up a copy of the King Family Christmas lp last month and mine also has it as well...

  4. Pete-Someone out there may know more about that than I do, but my guess is that it was so the record could be hung by a hook in a store. I know it's not the sort of hole that indicates a cut-out (records sold cheap, but non-returnable). I've also seen them with staples in the corner, and that confused me for a while, until I found one with the price tag still stapled to the record. Those are all just my theories. Your milage (or the truth) may vary.

PS-where's that single you promised me??? :)
