I Lettered In Christmas

I'm going deep into the archives again with something I recorded last year but never shared.  I had planned to do a series of shares featuring records from your local military recruiters, but it never came to fruition.  But I need to get some of these shares out before the season well and truly ends, so here you go.  This time it's The Lettermen joining the US Navy Band for a series of Christmas songs spread out into two 15 minute shows, perfect for radio programming.  Please download The US Navy Band & The Lettermen-A Bicentennial Christmas (The Recruiting Advertising Department Of The Navy Recruiting Command, Stereo, 1975).

1. Intro (Sleigh Ride)
2. Rudolph The Rednosed Reindeer
3. Carol Of The Bells
4. Christmas All Alone
5. I'll Be Home For Christmas
6. White Christmas
7. Parade Of The Wooden Soldiers/We Wish You A Merry Christmas
8. Intro (Sleigh Ride)
9. The Christmas Song
10. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
11. White Christmas
12. I Sing Noel
13. Parade Of The Wooden Soldiers/We Wish You A Merry Christmas

For what it's worth, the Bicentennial in question wasn't the US, it was for the US Navy. I guess we had a Navy before we had a country.

  1. Well Ernie, another album for the celebration of my birth, just...
That being said, two most enjoyable programs. But why 15 minutes long each?
I am sure glad they were called the Lettermen. Why.? If they were called the Numbermen, that really would be funny. They say, we will sing 2 songs during the first program, E X C U S E me, they sang 3 songs. Oh well, 3 is better than 2.

    1. That MediaFire link can't still be good can it? No, I didn't think so. Boy this is an old post. I think there is a good download link at this 2018 repost. Enjoy!

  2. Yes, I guess I downloaded it from the latter share.
    But, sometimes there are:
    more than one share
or I have a tough time even locating a share. whether I use the title, a category, or whatever. If I can use a artists name, that helps, but sometimes they are in a compilation.
So, I guess this one came up first, so this is where I placed the comment.

    1. I've considered in the past going back and updating old shares, but I don't like messing with history. So when I want to reshare something, I create a new post about it and link it to the original. But I never do the reverse, so sometimes people miss out. and can't find stuff.
