Shhhhh!

I'm far, far away from my home computer tonight, enjoying the hospitality of a hotel room in Daytona Beach!  Unfortunately, it's dark out, and cold, so I'm staying indoors.  The beach will still be there when it's warm and light out.  I've got a super secret share for you tonight, a little something I shouldn't share at all, but it's too nice not to share, and I've never seen another copy.  This is from 1957, was recorded by someone named Tutti, and released by someone named Walt.  Beyond that, I'm not going to put in anything that will let the search engines hunt me down.  But you can take a look at the pictures and see for yourselves, trust me, it's worth your download time.  Enjoy!

  2. I downloaded this when you sort of mentioned it to the King a few days ago, put it on a CD and have been playing it ever since. It is lovely. Thanks so much for this and all the other music!

  3. I notice that Fred Scheiterlein also owned a Ruth Welcome recording that you posted. Coincidence?

  6. Ernie - Thanks so much for this, and all of the other great shares. I really appreciate all the work that you do. This music is a highlight of the season for an old guy like me. I'm truly grateful!

  7. Hmm, they were both owned by Fred! I didn't notice that. I'm afraid I don't have a clear memory of buying either record, but I'm sure it was within the past twelve months. They must have been together. Good eye!

  10. This is absolutely BRILLIANT, SPARKLING music for the cold winter months ahead, done up as only you-know-who can! After all, she/he/it would, of course, accept no less on their record label! I LOVE it! 'Tis a darn shame this GREAT orchestral LP isn't available on CD. I would TOTALLY buy it! But then I say that about a lot of LP shares...

    Thanks a lot, Ernie!

  11. It's good stuff. I think there are versions for each of the seasons, I'll have to keep an eye out for the others.

  13. Guess what I found the 'Summer' version of yesterday? Two down, two to go!

  14. As a collector of "Walt's" records, I searched for years to find the complete set of Seasons recordings. Your "Winter" is in much better shape than the one I found in a San Francisco record shop a few years back. I also have "Autumn" in decent condition and "Spring" in good condition. I found "Summer" streaming online a few months ago and captured it, but I've never come across the actual LP. And I'm more than happy to share.

  15. I've found two copies of Summer now, and I haven't been looking for too long. Neither is in mint condition, but then none of my records ever are. I'm gonna keep my eyes open. I think they were later re-recorded and released in Stereo, too, but I've not seen any of those.

  18. Michael, could you share the "Autumn" album? I would really like to take a listen to that.

  19. Can anyone help me get in touch with Michael to see if he will share Camarata Autumn?

    Please :(

  21. Thx for the Summer share! Sorry that I missed Winter last year; any chance of a torrent share? Can't imagine why Disney isn't offering the four seasons as a box set.

Your website is brilliant and I look forward to it every Christmas. Thank you for not only sharing your collection, but for providing background information and personal reviews; great fun to read.

  22. Does anyone have this available again? Please? I love the stuff Camarata did for this label--top notch arrangements all the time. We are switching from Christmas to winter music, and this would be the perfect edition.

SO BUMMED I missed this last year. :(

  23. First, Ernie THANKS for all your work over the years. Can you, or someone who downloaded it please do a torrent share?

  24. I kind of forgot about this...sorry. Anyway, here's "Autumn". It's just a basic rip. Hasn't been cleaned up at all because I don't know how to do that. Enjoy!

  25. Just came across this on a harddrive full of Christmas music. I'd forgotten how much I like this, even if, strictly speaking, it's not a Christmas record.
