25 Days Of Christmas-Day 4

Day four, how about some fine banjo pickin'? You can't go wrong with some fine banjo music, unless you happen to be taking a river rafting trip down a river that's soon to disappear behind a dam. But that's a different story. For your listening pleasure, here is track four, The Banjo Barons-Jolly Old St. Nick & Jingle Bells from A Very Merry Christmas To All (Columbia Special products for Acme Markets CSP 159, 1964). Enjoy!

  1. I found your blog while searching for The Surfers CHristmas in Hawaii album. I left you a comment there, but realized it was originally posted last year. It wasn't Christmas in our home until we heard Hear Comes Santa In A Red Canue. And their version of Oh Holy Night brings tears to my eyes and makes the hair raise on my arms; it is so beautiful. Too bad I couldn't download the songs - our album was lost during a move. I'm searching to purchase a copy.

    Thanks for sharing!
    Merry Christmas!!
