25 Days Of Christmas-Day 17

This rather ragged looking 45 provides the music for tonight's contribution to 25 Days Of Christmas. It's a rousing rendition of Jingle Bells, with the added bonus of being sung in Italian. Or at least I'm assuming it's Italian. Probably... Anyhow, let me quit yapping and give you Lou Monte With Hugo Winterhalter's Orchestra And Chorus-Italian Jingle Bells (RCA Victor 7" 45 rpm 47-6320, 1955). Yep, that's right, this also features Hugo Winterhalter!

  1. Thanks for this. As an Italian American originally from Northern NJ, Lou Monte is always a holiday favorite. Its not Christmas without Dominick The Donkey in my book...

  2. Nice to see (or rather hear) something from Lou Monte in addition to his classic "Dominick" tune. :)
