Conservationists

Another something from 2011 that hasn't been back since, this is a collection of Christmas carols that may have been some sort of giveaway. Not sure about the history on this one, as Fleetwood was a label that put out a lot of records for marching bands.  This is certainly not a marching band, so that's kind of a dead end.  If anybody recognizes this record, lemme know.  In newly re-encode 320 sound, this is The Conservatory Caroleers Of New England, Arranged And Conducted By Theodore Casher-Merry Christmas (Fleetwood FCLP3017, Stereo).

1. Deck The Halls
2. It Came Upon The Midnight Clear
3. While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks
4. Christmas Is Coming
5. The First Noel
6. We Three Kings Of Orient Are
7. Joy To The World
8. Silent Night
9. Jingle Bells
10. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
11. We Wish You A Merry Christmas
12. O Little Town Of Bethlehem
13. Hark The Herald Angels Sing
14. O Come All Ye Faithful

  1. It sure looks like a giveaway, but what's with the Daily Evening Item? It seems redundant. The Daily Item, The Evening Item, OK.

When I was a paper boy 60 years ago, they didn't give us records to hand out, that's for sure. The cheapskates I delivered to wouldn't even come to the door when I came around to collect. I'd be darned if I would give them a free record. (Well, maybe an organ record.)
