Christmas Sounds

A little reshare from 2007 here, this LP is one of the lost orchestral treasures.  If you're into the whole Beautiful Music scene, then this is the record for you.  I think you'll really enjoy The Medallion Orchestra And Chorus, Directed By John Paul Krance-The Sound Of Christmas-Deck The Halls (Medallion (Kapp) MS-7512, Stereo, 1960).  If you've never seen this record before, it came in a fancy gatefold cover and probably sold for a bit of a premium.  That may explain why you don't see many copies of this lying around.

1. Joy To The World-Deck The Halls-The Wassail Song
2. Carol Of The Bells-The Little Drummer Boy
3. The Christmas Song
4. Hark The Herald Angels Sing-Away In A Manger-It Came Upon The Midnight Clear
5. White Christmas
6. Oh, Little Town Of Bethlehem-The First Noel
7. Oh, Tannenbaum-Angels We Have Heard On High
8. Silent Night
9. Jingle Bells-Winter Wonderland
10. We Three Kings Of Orient Are-God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
11. What Child Is This?-The Coventry Carol
12. Adeste Fideles

I'm sorry that you had to share this three times over the years for me to wake up and take the download. Very wonderful! Thanks.

Very nice. It won't replace my Conniff We Wish You a Merry Christmas album favourite, but it might put a run on it from time to time. -Jimmy
