AMC?

Next up is a choir group that I originally thought had something to do with the AMC General car, but it turns out to be an insurance company with a similar name.  But you're still stuck with it, same as I was.  This has sat here next to the computer for a couple of years before I finally got around to recording it, but it's not the worst thing I'll share with you all season.  This is The American General Chorus-Christmas Is Love (American General Insurance Company, Houston, Texas/Inspiration Records INS 1002, Stereo, 1972).

1. O Come All Ye Faithful
2. O Little Town Of Bethlehem
3. It Came Upon The Midnight Clear
4. Silent Night
5. The First Noel
6. Hark The Herald Angels Sing
7. Joy To The World
8. I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day
9. O Holy Night
10. Christmas Hymn
11. While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks
12. What Child Is This
13. Lo, How A Rose E'er Blooming
14. Good King Wenceslas
15. Deck The Hall
16. God Rest You Merry Gentlemen
17. Away In A Manger
18. Jingle Bells
19. Jolly Old St. Nick

  1. Oh, wow! One where I'll be the first comment! Thank you very much. I'm sure I'll find at least two things here to like, even three?

  2. Thank you so much, Ernie (I am way late starting my downloading - it's been that kind of December). I'm looking forward to hearing this, so thank you. One thing I'll bet about the cover as a New Englander - that church isn't (wasn't?) in Houston! That church looks like every single one here in WMass & they're all over VT, too, but I'm willing to bet money I don't have that there isn't one that looks like that in Houston!
