Merry Christmas (Eve)

In a tradition dating back to 2006, I end my Christmas Eve sharing with this record.  It's designed to be played for the little ones right before bedtime tonight, so hopefully you have enough time to get it and play it.  I'd hoped to get more goodies up for you today, but I spent the whole day Christmas shopping, and tonight I have to wrap everything up.  If I don't talk to you again, I hope you have a Merry Christmas.  Now, go download 'Twas The Night Before Christmas (RCA Camden CAS-1101, Stereo, 1968).

  4. Merry Christmas, and thank you for all of your tireless work on this blog. Year after year, sharing this music has allowed me to have the Christmases I've always wanted.

Your posts are also responsible for much of the material on my Christmas mixes, so I hope you enjoy:

  11. I've had a tape since I was a child that had a ton of Christmas stories and songs. From Santa Claus Conquers the Martians to two different Rudolph stories.

This record was at the very end of it. Right as the elf goes to sleep is where my tape ends.... And it's been since about 72-3 time frame since I've heard the whole thing. Up until a few minutes ago, I didn't even know the name of the record was. Just started to search.

I'd love to get an updated link.. I'll even share my 2 MP3 files of both sides of my tape with you.. As a trade :)

  13. Any chance of reposting? I have a question as well.. my copy was actually two albums reissued with an orange label in the late 70's/early 80's from an RCA record club or catalog... Ever seen this version? It seemed to have more content...
