Off-White Ibis

I shot this white ibis while at my Aunt's house for Thanksgiving the other day. I need to learn how to compensate for white surfaces. Notice how there is no texture in the white area on the bird's body. I think his neck is a funny color because he's transitioning from the juvenile coloration to full-on adult colors. That or he's just dirty.
