Luboff Love

Here's the lost soundtrack to a lost television special from 1968. The Night Before Christmas isn't one of those specials they repeat every year, or at least they don't include it in their 25 Nights Of Christmas programming (which seems to include every special Christmas presentation known to man, plus a few unknowns...). I shared this out in 2007, and you can read more about it there. I'd write more here, but I'm still a little under the weather and bed is calling my name. Please download and enjoy The Norman Luboff Choir-The Night Before Christmas (Elba Productions, Stereo, 1968).

  1. Merry Christmas to
you, Ernie! I'm sorry you are under the weather. The pace you've been sharing all these Yuletide goodies out, that would run anybody down. You've been spoiling us all rotten, kind Sir,and now it's time to lay back and take care of yourself for awhile.
Just one example of your generous labour was the (2!) Mike Douglas posts. Thank you Ernie! There went a very sincere man, knew the real meaning of the Season, and as you said, could really sing.
Remember to take it easy my friend. You already filled our musical stockings to the point of overflowing.

  2. I'm sorry you're sick! Get well soon! Gargle with salt water and soup. Pop-tarts work well also.

  3. Eat the soup and pop-tarts... don't gargle with them...(I gotta learn not to post before 6 am...)

  4. Thank you Ernie for all you have shared!
Forget the salt water and soup. Go for the chocolate. It won't cure a cold, but it seems like the thing to do.
