CiJ 2025-Day 26

Day 26, the end is coming up quickly. I've got too many files by a couple of groups in the folder to share still, so I'm having to double up on them. And of course it's no one's favorite, but hopefully they'll go down easy. The track worth mentioning today is a great little number by Tom Paxton that is not The Marvelous Toy. It'll quickly become one of your faves, I promise. Give it a listen and see.

    1. One of my old college buddies was in Atlanta for our meetup, and he's been living in Denmark for a while now. He was speaking in tongues to us for part of the time. It's all Greek to me.

    1. He did have a very recognizable style. From my very shaky memory, he did the cover for Savoy Brown's "Looking In" too.

    2. I try to always pick up his covers when I find them, but there are so many. https://www.discogs.com/artist/2252778-Jack-Davis-5

    3. I looked through that list and didn't see Savoy Brown, but I did see a very early Bob & Ray that I'd like to hear. I saw them with my mom live the day I graduated from boot camp in January '73. They always cracked me up!

    4. I have that Bob & Ray somewhere, if it's the one I was thinking of. Could be more out there, they just haven't been added to the list yet.
