Not In Londontown

Today was the first truly foggy day I've had in San Francisco since I arrived. Which is good for me, since I got to take lots of great pictures, but when you come to SF, you expect to see some fog. And here it is. That's Fort Point on the left, which was spared from destruction thanks to some forward thinking people back in the day. They actually built the Golden Gate Bridge right around it, which is why there is a big arch on one end of the bridge, but not the other. Tomorrow is my last day in the Bay Area, so this will probably be my last post until I get home. See you then!

  2. Ernie, have you been to any thrift shops yet. San Fran is also LP land.

  3. He's having too much fun, no time for us right now. That's ok, hope he brings us souveniers.

  4. I'm back! Did you miss me? Let me see, I'm so far behind in responding to comments, I may never catch up. I was in SF for about 8 days. Long time, but I almost squeezed in everything I wanted to do. Stay tuned for lots of pictures. I didn't go into a single thrift store, even though I really wanted to. I sat at an intersection for a long time in downtown SF looking at the biggest Goodwill I think I have ever seen, but I resisted the temptation. I was on a pretty tight budget, and SF can be an expensive town. Hopefully next time I can save up a little more and spend a little more freely. I actually went into the Ameoba on Haight and just looked around. Those of you who know about Ameoba and the way I buy records will realize what a feat that was...

And I brought back plenty of photographic souveniers. Stay tuned...
