Roland Rings
I'm writing this as my wife is looking over my shoulder at what I'm typing. I'm not entirely sure she can read what I'm writing, but you never can tell so I have to be careful. This is a record played on the carillon, you know how I love those. I almost missed it because the cover doesn't have anything to do with what's on the vinyl, but I guess most records are like that. This is Roland Pomerat-Roland Rings The Christmas Bells (Maas-Rowe Carillons MR 3928, Stereo). She's still watching...

thank you. this is nice!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed, thanks for the note!!
DeleteShe can't believe you've posted 300 albums and are still working away writing about another one!
ReplyDeleteYeah, well... I think i wrote this two months ago and I'm about to run out of canned posts. I need to get busy and make some more.
DeleteYou're too funny, Ernie :)
ReplyDeleteI do love carillon also.
Have fun, and keep on a sharing... even you have a back seat driver ;)
I think her and Lance (the cat) have more involvement in an upcoming post, unless it's already posted and I missed it. She thought it was pretty funny. It makes more sense if you know I was writing 10-20 of these posts a day when this happened and I was struggling to come up with something to say on them.
Deletewell Ernie, this was interesting but in a great way. It was very relaxing and nothing to worry about with questionable entertainers.
ReplyDeleteAt least, everything was in tune, trained, and full of quality.
Nice to hear something different than chimes.
Are you listening to the new releases in real time now? Should be easier now that I'm sharing a lot less. It's like a firehose around here during the Christmas season. :)
DeleteAs my queue is almost empty, I am adding the new shares into what is left.
ReplyDeleteI then will figure out how to make a new queue of all those, Salvation Army, Military, and Kid Stuff shares.
I don't think the records on the Kid Stuff label are going to be your cup of tea. They're geared towards the the younger, less discriminating set. but you never know...
DeleteAs I never really had a childhood, I was a liitle man, so to speak, I have been living parts of it over the last 20 years or so.
DeleteThat is the most somber Christmas album cover I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteThat's probably why I didn't pay much attention to it. Don't make the same mistake I did, give it a listen!
