Greasy Kid Stuff 1

Here's a remaster of something I first shared with you way back in 2011. At the time I thought it was just another Disco Christmas record, I didn't realize it was part of a whole series of weird records on this same label. Have a listen to this updated version of The Kid Stuff Repertory Company-A Disco Christmas (Kid Stuff Records KSD 024, Stereo, 1979). More to come from these guys, stay tuned.

1. Rudolf The Red-Nosed Reindeer
2. Jingle Bells
3. I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus
4. Frosty The Snowman
5. Sleigh Ride
6. Jingle Bell Rock
7. White Christmas
8. The Twelve Days Of Christmas

  1. Frosty appears to be flogging the reindeer with his sleigh bells. This is not kid stuff!

    2. What's worse is that they all appear to be smiling. Perverts!

  2. I just came across your original post (found this dirty record in a thrift store) a few days ago when I clicked on the Disco button to see if you posted the Mirror Image/Mistletoe Disco Band Christmas albums here. I wasn't sure if the link in your original post worked. Glad to have it remastered so I can check it out. Had quite a few Kid Stuff albums (both 12-inch and 7-inch book-and-record combos) in my collection when I was a kid growing up in the late-'80's.

    1. Was it that long ago that I shared this? Seems like it was just a couple years ago. Maybe I'm confusing it with some other one in my brain. Glad I brought it back just in time.

  3. Ernie, at least they spent some money on these tracks and were not digging in the bottomless barrel for old tracks.
I guess, these songs, were perfect for their target audience, but they are "not" danceable. But, then I was in the sales department Personal Shopping when this came on in my queue.
So, maybe, a secord listen is warranted.

    1. I dunno if it's worth your time to revisit this one, but it's up to you. There's better Christmas disco out there.
