Christmas

For whoever recommended that I try my dishes Christmas here in Santa Fe, thank you very much. This Enchilada platter in Abiquiu was great! For those that don't know, ordering something Christmas means it comes with both red and green chili peppers. Mmmmm, good! Not too spicy, but flavorful.

  1. Hello, Ernie, your plate of Mexican Cuisine looks very tasty. Near our home is a Mexican Restaurant that serves a very long list of Mexican foods. There combo sampler patter is about $22.00 and is so large it needs two plates for all of their foods. Just their large Burrito would stuff most people. Its great that you have been enjoying the Season's Holidays too. We are Enjoying your Christmas Albums, you have done a grand job with all of the diversity of music posted. Keep up your great works. It's like A Big Christmas Surprise every time a different Holiday Albums comes out. its great to see many of those older past posts come back for us all to listen to once again. Ernie, Did you have any luck into locating the Red Record. From Thursday, November 23, 2017. Called The Mundell Lowe Ensemble-The Sounds Of Christmas (Ameridisc Red Flexidisc 7" 33 RPM, Mono). Hopefully you might be able to Re-Post this old Album. Thanks for what you have dome. Peace, Joy and Good Will to all. "Happy Holidays" & "Merry Christmas" & "A Very Happy New Year's Eve & Day 2026" . Sincerely, Stan.

    1. I'm hundreds of miles away from my archive so I can't repost that record until I get back. That'll likely be the second week of January. Thanks for the note!

    4. Thanks! We're having a blast. Seeing the sites, hiking through canyons and up mountains. Lots of things we don't see in Florida.

  3. Ernie, I suggested trying Christmas and I'm happy to see you did! Chile is everything in NM, In Albuquerque you can get green chiles on pretty much any kind of fast food: McDonald's, Subway, etc. I was just there in September and of course enjoyed green chile at the Frontier, a beloved local diner near the Univ. of NM campus. I hope you and your wife are enjoying all of the sights and sounds and flavors of Navidad de Nuevo Mexico! Happy holidays!

    1. Thanks for the suggestion. Hoping to get to try more local cuisine as we set out on a small road trip the day after Christmas and can't eat at home every day.
