22-Have A Gluey Christmas
Let me see if I can figure out the theme here without checking my notes. Oh, gotta be kiddie vocals. I figured if I put most of them here in one place you could skip right over them if that's not your thing. Actually, some of these are OK, but for every good one you get a novelty record that isn't going to get a lot of play except at the end of the evening when you're trying to get those straggling house guests to go home so you can get some sleep. There are also a few non-themed songs here to fill out the playlist and you don't want to miss adding those to your Christmas playlist. And a Season's Greeting message from former teen idol Bobby Goldsboro (this looks like a rare case where I have the daily greeting by an artist with an actual song on the collection), you know you don't want to miss that. Enjoy!

It's a nice selection. I generally consider these kiddie krooners to be an aural hazard of the season, but you have Barry Gordon, whom I like (although not with "Nuttin' from Christmas," my favorite) and the Singing Angels, who used to be all over the Cleveland airwaves. I hate to admit it, but they were pretty good!

The Bobby Goldsboro cut is one of my hard-to-find Christmas favorites, as is the Tennessee Ernie Ford selection included here.
