Robert The Third

I didn't think I'd get this one done for you this year, but here's the third entry in my Robert Rheims discography so far. This is another organ & chime set, so it's most similar to Merry Christmas Carols (either the 10" or the 12", they're different!), but not as good as the choral one, We Wish You A Merry Christmas.  It's still pretty good, and a welcome addition to the set.  The cover was gold foil with a bit of a greenish tinge to it, and the scan made it look horrid.  I worked on it for days and days.  I sought out help from my buddy Inkydog and he helped me come up with something that's at least presentable, but really doesn't look much like the cover I had.  I have, however, seen reissues with plain cardboard sleeves, and they look a lot like what I've done here, so there is that.  Also, my copy was on plain black vinyl, so I need to hunt around and see if this one exists on the red or green of all the others.  Having said all that, it's late and I want to go to bed.  This is Robert Rheims, Organ And Chimes-For The Whole Family At Christmas (Rheims Records ST-7710, Stereo).

1. We Wish You A Merry Christmas
2. Winter Wonderland
3. The Christmas Song

10. Medley: Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer; Frosty The Snowman
11. Close: We Wish You A Merry Christmas

  1. I think you've given us more music in the past 12 months than you have in many years combined. Thank you very much!

  2. Yeah, those foil things are the worst to scan. I worked over the Wally Stott record and it looked like this one when I was done, only worse.

Will see if I can locate it and send on images
