Christmas In July 2011-Day 32

Yes, there are 32 days in July this month.  Err, I mean last month.  Chances are, there will be 33, to tell you the truth.  But tonight I am pretty busy trying to figure out something called jdownloader, so I don't have time to give you a list of stuff.  But there're some good things in here, and a lot of reruns that I didn't get to during the month proper.  Here's the download link, come back tomorrow for even more goodies!

  1. Hello Ernie-
You recently asked for our favorite tunes of July (which I responded to), but I figured I'd also let you know about some of my other All-Time favorites that you've shared. I'm definitely a fan of the quirkier side of Christmas music...

Harry Kari And His Six Saki Sippers "Oh! Oh! Don't Ever Go" Love it! So funny. Those around me who I've played this for love it too!

Lawrence Welk "Holiday" Neat instrumental. Made it onto my Christmas mix last year.

    Jimmy Soul "Rockin' Santa"

The McGuire Sisters "Children's Holiday" (I must admit, I set my iTunes to play only the last part of this song, where it picks up. But I love it.)

  2. Ernie,

I stumbled across your site while doing some research for my family. My parents were married in the Drexel Park Presb. Church. My brother and I were baptized there as well.

If it's not too much to ask, my mother would love to listen to the choir album. I downloaded 3 of the songs you posted and wondered if you have already recorded the entire album.

Either way, thanks for what you have done so far.

  3. Oh man, I gotta add a few to the above list:
    Perry Como "Christmas Dream"
    Johnny Brandon "Santa Claus Jr."

The entire Christmas side of The Joy Strings "Well Seasoned", however, has got to be my all-time favorite of your many great posts.
