Goodbye
I buried Baby yesterday in the field behind my parents house. It was raining the whole time, and today I woke up with a sore throat. Oh, well. But this isn't about me, it's about her. I figured the yellow flowers were somehow appropriate for a yellow cat. Thanks to all of you for your comments. I need to work on moving on now.
Rest In Peace!
ReplyDeleteSorry for your loss Ernie.
ReplyDeleteCapt
that photo just broke my heart.
ReplyDeleteThose friends, they stay with you, well after they have left this world.
ReplyDeleteYou are a beautiful human being Ernie. We have a little puss nearly 16 now so we know soon we will have to face up to the inevitable. Baby was very fortunate to be loved so much and we will take comfort in your words when the time comes for our little one. Our thoughts are with you.
ReplyDeleteBaby was a beautiful cat and I'm sure he had a great life with you. When you are ready, remember that there are many other beautiful cats (and dogs) at your local animal shelter who desperately need a home just as Baby did 10 years ago.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you and Baby!
I have had a lot of pets during my life, many act almost human, with human characteristics, and many with their own unique little personalities that you grow to love and admire.
ReplyDeleteThe loss of a pet can almost be as traumatic as the loss of a person.
So, I feel for your loss.
Hopefully in time you will get another pet, although, its never really the same.
This looks like a nice place. Rest in peace, Baby.
