The Happiest Santa Of All

Now here's a Santa I wouldn't mind meeting. This happy cello-playing fellow graces the cover of an EP I found that was given away by banks to their customers who had Christmas Club accounts. This particular one is stamped Trenton State Bank, Trenton, Michigan. It's called Merry Christmas Carols (Decca Records Custom Division 9-34211 7" 33 RPM) and features tracks from The Four Aces, Ethel Smith, The McGuire Sisters, Sammy Kaye, Lawrence Welk & The Ames Brothers. Oddly enough, there are two versions of Adeste Fideles on here, once under the name Adeste Fidelis and once as O Come, All Ye Faithful. Sometimes I wonder... But you get a great Santa out of the deal, so everything is OK!
