The First Bit Of May

The weekly calendar page for this, the first week in May, is a view of the Hillsborough Inlet near Pompano Beach, Florida. The guy with the sword is a statue of the Barefoot Mailman, a renowned figure in the area who used to deliver mail up and down the coast near the end of the 19th century. To the left, just out of camera view, is the Hillsborough Inlet Lighthouse, which you'll see in an upcoming weekly page.
