"Winter"-Halter, Get It?

Well, since my Up With People post was a bust, here's a second choice. A lot smoother than those singing teens, this is Hugo Winterhalter-Christmas Magic (RCA Camden CAL-449, 1958). This is a pretty sweet album, I think you'll enjoy it. And if you folks are good, I'll throw in a bonus track later. :)

  1. Wow, "Christmas with Conniff" has always been my favorite holiday album for the genre, but this may come in a close second. What a great find. Thanks.

  2. I love yu. That's all. I just loooove you for this album. I have been looking all OVER for it. Now all I have to do if figure out how to copy it to a CD...yes, I am technically challenged.

  3. Christmas Magic is the album that brings back the best memories of my childhood Christmases. I've been looking for it forever. My dad brought it home at holiday time, probably in the late 50's, and it became a family favorite. It's been lost for years. With all of the Christmas music that's been offered on commercial CDs, I've often wondered why this one was never made available. It's wonderful.

  4. I have this album, unfortunately, no way to play it. I really would like to have it on a CD so that I could play it again, and again, and again. If not the whole record at least my favorite from it "That's What I Want for Christmas" Or if someone has the lyrics for it, that would be great.

  5. You can download the album to your pc, and burn a CD for yourself. I think I used Windows Media Player to burn my CD. Very quick.
