John & Jeanne
Here's a fun album from a couple who are married to different people. I guess that means they aren't a couple, but if you're like me, every time you see a man and a woman singing together, you just assume they're a couple. How 'bout those outfits though? That's half the fun of these old records. High fashion at the time is pretty weird from today's vantage point. Enjoy it while you can, pretty sure your kids will be making fun of you in old pictures someday. This is John & Jeanne-Our Favorite Christmas Carols (Master Music MM-1004-LPS, Stereo). Enjoy, and come back soon.

A leisure suit with contrast stitching! At least it isn't lime green. Jeanne looks great, though!
ReplyDeleteThe seventies were a weird time.
DeleteWhy didn't the fashion police do their job in those days? Were they on strike?
DeleteAlso, the seventies were weird, but the weirdness started in the sixties.
DeleteTrue, but I think it was a different weirdness. The hippies would never be down with leisure suits.
DeleteThat is certainly true!
