A Bank Is Its People
Time for an early morning share. Is anyone awake out there? I thought this was going to be another religious release, but it turned out to be a little better then that. I think it's a local community group that somehow got a big sponsor in a local savings bank. You never know what you're going to get with something like this and I think this one is better than average. Add it to your collection today! This is The Concert Singers-A Program Of Christmas Music (Fleetwood Recording Co, BMC5162 For The Lynn Five Cents Savings Bank, Stereo). There was an entire concert program stuffed in the sleeve of this one. I scanned the whole thing and put it in the download for you. Enjoy!

I appreciate a great cover, but I love so much when a boring cover is hiding something special. I will always pick up high school choir albums with stock photo cover for this reason - you never know what you're going to get!
ReplyDeleteWhat's your hit-rate? 1 in a thousand? :)
DeleteSounds about right!
DeleteErnie....... Always want to know dates. Found this in the obit of Father David F. Gallaher, CSS, Conductor of this work, "Co-Founder and Director of the Concert Singers, Lynn, Massachusetts, 1979 to 1985". His obit is here https://www.joycefuneralhome.com/obituaries/rev-david-gallagher-css. So the album must have been done somewhere between 79-85.
ReplyDeleteGood work. Keep digging and you can probably put a solid year on it. I don't dig as deep as I could on some of these things, there are just too many... :)
