CiJ 2025-Day 19
Day 19, what is that, almost two thirds of the way through, but not quite. We've come a long way but we still have a ways to go. My favorite track today is a swinging version of March Of The Toys. It's a rerun from past years, but I still enjoy it and I'm sure you will, too. That's a nice version of Feliz Navidad in there, too, but I think it's a rerun as well. Lemme know what you think down in the comments.

OK, I have to check out the Clark Sisters doing March of the Toys. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI agree. Great headline choice. I did not know that Charles "Bud" Dant did solo records; I see his name pop up on various records by organist Earl Grant and clarinetist Pete Fountain.
DeleteThese Clark Sisters were known as the Sentimentalists when they sang with Tommy Dorsey's orchestra; their best-remembered song with him is Sy Oliver's arrangement of the old chesnut "On the Sunny Side of the Street."
DeleteIt's good stuff, I promise! And thanks for the added info!
DeleteThanks Ernie! Love this great post.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you stopping by and downloading, though I notice you weren't first today. What's up with that?!? ;)
