Sunset

Since I hear Chanukah begins this evening at sunset, here's my one and only Chanukah share for the year, and I'm afraid it's not very good.  Staid solo piano backing and some very monotone singing from one Abraham Davis.  I pulled this from a rough-looking 78, it's 5 short tracks, all the big Chanukah hits.  It is on the somewhat famed Tikva label, but I think it's too early to have been a part of their weird and wacky years.  But maybe this will touch a special place in your hearts as you light the Menorah.  Please enjoy Abraham Davis-Chanukah-Feast Of Lights (Tikva 10" 78 RPM T-3001, Mono).  If you're looking for good Chanukah music, there's a great song on one of my Christmas In July collections!

1. The Chanukah Blessing
2. Rock Of Ages (Ma-Oz Tzur)
3. Oh Chanukah
4. Mi Yemallel
5. Spin Sevivon

Thank you. I'm not Jewish myself, but will take a listen anyway. Happy Chanukah to all who celebrate.
