A Douglas Two-fer

I got a request to repost my old Mike Douglas shares, so here they are.  The first one, shown above, dates to 1967, but I first shared it in 2006 (in August, no less), right after he passed away.  Then I found the second one, below, from 1979, much later than the first one, but I shared it out the following year, in 2007.  Neither of them are something you see very often, so I'm happy to bring them back for you.

  2. Thanks Badgercat, hope you're enjoying them. Now, for the folks who read the comments, here's my really old share of another TV personality, John Davidson and his Christmas record.

  3. Hollywood Squares. Lots of his Christmas songs have made several of the 60s and 70s compilations LPs. I'll download John Davidson for the win Peter...

  4. I have some requests:
"Merry Christmas To You" on Capitol Records, or at least the songs on the record that aren't on CD.
    Any chance of remastering
Dick Leibert "The Sound Of Christmas At Radio City Music Hall",
Dick Leibert "The Happy Hits Of Christmas", & The 3 Suns "A Ding Dong Dandy Christmas" this year?

  6. If only "Clap Hands on Christmas Morning," I will be eternally grateful for your share of this album. I love love love it. Didn't have the "Mike Douglas Christmas Album," so I'm excited to add it to my collection.

    THANK YOU!

  8. This is the first year I've checked out the 1979 LP... Might have to bust out the polyester after listening to the disco mix of 'Do You Hear What I Hear?'... Nice one Ernie!!!

  9. Been so long since I listened to it, I don't remember it being Disco. I need to do a better job of actually listening to stuff more when I share it. But then I'd never get anything done. :)
