Halfway Through October

Four tries to get this picture posted. Sheesh. Anyhow, I'm continuing on with the great fall shots this week. This time it's Deerlick Creek in Ohio. I remember there where maybe half a dozen other photographers in this area at the same time. I was complaining to one of them about the miserable overcast, leaving little light for pictures. He countered with the fact that the soft lighting made for great pictures. I'm still not convinced, but I think this one came out pretty well.

  1. Ernie, I hope you don't mind but I just made this picture my desktop. Fall is by far my favorite time of year (especially here in Michigan). This is a GREAT picture!

  2. That's what they're there for. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm missing the big leaf change up there right now, unfortunately, but I'm sure it'll happen again next year around this time.
