We go from a fancy fountain last week to formal fungi this week. These mushrooms were sprouting from the end of a cut log in a valley in Ohio. I always love to get down on my hands and knees and try to shoot the little things. They're harder to spot, but I think they're worth it.
Wow! They look like something out of "The Outer Limits"! It must be the camera angle.
