Three Stories
I like to share out some of these spoken word records well before Christmas so that people have a little time to mine them for bits that might be useful on their Christmas mixes. Not sure if there's anything here interesting enough to put on a mix, but you never know. If you do find something here worth using, send me a copy or a link, I'd love to hear it. If you want to see what there is to see, here's The Wonderland Players-Three Christmas Stories (Wonderland/A.A. Records WLP-328, Stereo, 1980).
1. O Little Town Of Bethlehem
2. The Night Before Christmas
3. The Twelve Days of Christmas

Hi Ernie,
ReplyDeleteAs always thank you for more stories, I love them.
Plenty more where these came from, stay tuned!
DeleteHi Ernie,
ReplyDeleteJust some information.
1. I never listen to Christmas music at home, unless it is Instrumental music over the internet.
2. I only listen to Christmas music when I am out and about. This includes: shopping, appointment waiting times, transportation travels, etc. So, this could be anywhere up to 2.5 hours per day and 5 days per week.
During my Organization work, I listen to stories. Usually OTR shows. For years now it has been OTR Westerns, currently the Lone Ranger. Plus a few other shows thrown in if the Westerns are finished on my MP3 player. I always have back up shows to listen to. But I love Dan, Tonto, and the Lone Ranger exploits.
Anyway, during Halloween, it scarey stories and during Christmas I love Christmas stories. So, I make room for Christmas story favorites scary, religious, funny, musical, thought provoking, or whatever.
So, you can tell why, I am so backed up on my Christmas music listening. However, I will be finishing your playlist number 45 from last season today. Not bad listening to 15 playlists during about a week of travels.
But still so much more to listen too. 22 un-heard albums from 2023. About 30 albums from 2025, non Ernie blog additions, so loads to listen to and so little time to do it.
Plus all the great additions from you as ever.
Oh me, oh my.
One more thing, while we have not had any snow yet here in Berlin, that I am aware of, I was in Wannsee by the forest, yes that Wannsee, they had had a bit of snow. This year in Berlin I believe is going to be very cold, for once. We did not have a very hot summer season.
Rules were made to be broken, but I understand it's hard sometimes. Just enjoy the music when and where you can. :)
