Who's Evan?

Our endless trek back and forth across the United States this season brings us to Evansville, Indiana next. This record is a slicker production than most, I think it was actually recorded in a studio rather than in a live concert a few weeks before Christmas. Well worth a listen or even two, which is more than I can say about a majority of these records. This is The University Of Evansville Studio Orchestra & The UE Choral-Ayres-A University Of Evansville Christmas! (University Of Evansville Recording Project UERP-92782, Stereo, 1982). I think I misspelled Evansville a few times in the track tags of this one. Apologies for that. You'll have to go in and update that once you've download it. Don't forget!

    1. I think they did a nice job on the cover. My scan and Photoshop work didn't do it any favors though. :(

  3. Ernie, yes another good one. I nice album to shop by.
It is funny how many good ones are being shared after the main season. But, I guess it is better than saving some of those bad ones until later.
Worth a repeat listen, only because I miss things while shopping.

    1. I feel like most people don't want to listen to the private choir stuff, they prefer to listen to the pop stuff recorded to try and turn a profit. But to each his own. :)
