The First Full Week Of September

Here we go, into September. Pretty soon it will be next year. Anyhow, this week you get a picture of a pelican on a bridge piling. I forget exactly where I shot this one, but it's one of the little Gulf islands down here somewhere. They all start to look the same after a while.
