The Diplomat

Here's another good record for you on this fine Christmas day. I'm not sure about the provenance of this record, it was pressed in Miami, Florida, USA, for a label in Columbia and the band is from Puerto Rico. The world just gets smaller everyday I tell you. Pretty sure I've shared something from these guys before. Before the day gets away from me entirely, this is Los Diplomáticos-Navidad En Puerto Rico Con Los Diplomáticos (Discos Fuentes (Columbia) 203359, Stereo, 1966). I always think that cover model looks a little like Connie Francis, but that may just be because she wore a similar outfit on one of her album covers. Oh, and The Diplomat is a pretty good show on Netflix. I think they're on season three now. Give it a shot.
