Super Saturday Salvation 4

What's fourth in the pile today? Looks like we're skipping over 1970 (another one I need to find) and going straight to 1971. Our special guest is Helen Hayes, I name I know but can't tell you a single thing she was in. I guess I'm not that big of a fan. But it's our first female narrator, so that's pretty special, Don't think she's going to be the last, either. Please give her and the other stars here a good listen in The Search (Army Of Stars, The Salvation Army, Western Territory, Public Relations Department 40191, Stereo, 1971). Nice descriptive title on this one, and another great minimalist sleeve design. I remember trying to be very careful when I was cleaning up the artwork to not remove any real stars but only clean off any nicks, dust and scratches that didn't look like scattered stars.

      You can chart the whole history of LP cover art through these things. They go from pretty basic to pretty sophisticated.

    Helen Hayes won Best Supporting Actress at age 70 for her quirky role in 1970's "Airport", which I presume is partly the reason for her appearance here.
    She's also the first woman to acquire/win the "EGOT" (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony awards).

      But are you actually listening to the music? They're opera in most cases. Most of it is a hard listen. :(

    Well the best thing for me here was the narration piece by Helen Hayes. The rest is nice in it way.
    I was thinking, maybe I should start grading these from 0-10, like I do with a few other things.But, no one would know what my points refer to :-(. I need to find some alternate synonyms for nice.
