My family and I listened to it constantly in the 1960s and 1970s, and I have the original, badly scratched LP. I got it transferred from vinyl to CD last week and planned to give copies to my parents and siblings this Christmas, but it was so scratchy that it was downright irritating to listen to. Your version is an absolute Godsend. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! You don't know what this means to me!!!Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10748331033768509061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11600065.post-22876634378849050532008-12-06T14:09:00.000-05:002008-12-06T14:09:00.000-05:00Ernie, thanks for the stereo repost. I believe so...Ernie, thanks for the stereo repost. I believe someone mentioned last year that Thurl Ravenscroft sings with this group on this album. I'm big fan of his work for Disney's Haunted Mansion attraction and his best known work on the Grinch TV special. By the way, I've been meaning to tell you that I've been playing some of the albums you've shared as background music for my synchronized Christmas light yard display. A different album is featured each night. If anyone asks about the music I tell them to look up Ernie Not Bert on the internet. Once again, thanks for all you do! It's brings Christmas joy to many!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
