Nelson Riddle was THE conducto...What a great find! Nelson Riddle was THE conductor/arranger for all the big stars of the 50s and 60s. Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, etc. If you remember a really great singer, singing a really great arrangement from the pop standards of the day, chances are that Mr. Nelson Riddle is the truly mighty "Oz" behind the curtain of the song.
