I have a Paul Mauriat Christmas album and love it, so I was pleased to listen to The Little Drummer Boy. I also appreciated Sleigh Ride by the 101 Strings. For whatever it's worth, I appreciated the Longines' version of Toyland.Patrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05263362801147882187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11600065.post-22872602704299664242020-07-22T10:01:03.413-04:002020-07-22T10:01:03.413-04:00Yeah, their box sets are thrift store staples, jus...Yeah, their box sets are thrift store staples, just like the Reader's Digest sets.Erniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02589056878160272070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11600065.post-70265610197822565252020-07-21T21:23:53.113-04:002020-07-21T21:23:53.113-04:00

One of these albums illustrates how they took great care with the records they put out, including trimming flash from the outside edge of each disc. If they took the same care with their timepieces, why did they disappear?JustaJeepGuynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11600065.post-36975281977241041042020-07-20T07:56:24.938-04:002020-07-20T07:56:24.938-04:00I could be wrong, but I don't think they exist...I could be wrong, but I don't think they exist. I think it's just a name they used for recordings they had made by real groups. I guess there are plenty of outfits like that around, and I've shared out more than my fair share of them. :)Erniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02589056878160272070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11600065.post-91697410770375633192020-07-19T22:11:03.210-04:002020-07-19T22:11:03.210-04:00What is weird about the Longines Symphonette Socie...What is weird about the Longines Symphonette Society?
