DeleteI'm always intrigued to see another rendition of My Favorite Things, especially since it's not actually a Christmas song...so fascinating how the combination of it being included on Jack Jones' 1964 Christmas album & popularity of the 1965 film helped cement people covering it in this context.

Jack Jones was the first to release it in the context of a holiday album; Andy Williams included it on his 1965 release a year later, after the film hit.
DeleteWell, I didn't put it on there, but if someone likes something as a holiday hit, then more power to 'em. England is terrible about that. Any old song that hits #1 on the charts at Christmas time becomes a Christmas song.
