26 Days Of Christmas-Day 23

Please don't hate me. Here is today's track for 26 Days Of Christmas. At least I didn't subject you to the flipside, Don'tcha Try to Tell Me There Ain't No Santa Claus, which I haven't had the guts to actually listen to yet. Go download Lisa And The Lollipops-Stumpy (Sing Me Records SM-45-18, 1977). This may be the reason that Elvis passed away. It's from 1977 and there is a Tennessee address on the label...

Previous Tunes:

Well, hate is a harsh word, especially around Christmas time and in light of all the other great shares here. However, this one is of debatable quality for your comp. Seriously.

Gee, couldn't you have thrown in another Jimmy Boyd track like
(Look at the) Reindeer Rock instead? (I'd love to hear that one.)

Keep up the typically great work. (Stumpy should go the way of Charlie Brown's tree before its miraculous recovery.)

Merry Christmas!

I'm just afraid to listen to the other side. So....afraid....

Go on. You know you want to.

Why is it that the worst music stays in your head for hours-days-weeks.

Geez... this one is worse than "Small World" ...

A reluctant "Thank you", Ernie

I'm sorry everybody hates this song. But as a 9 year old girl that got to go downtown to a real recording studio and sing, it was an amazing experience. Nobody in the group was over 12. We got to experience something a lot of people would like to. Give us a break.
