The monthly picture for September is this sunset over Lake Erie. Look closely out on the horizon and you can see a very small lighthouse that marks the entrance to the Cuyahoga River.
I almost forgot that today was the first of the month, so you get two calendar pages. This is from the set of weekly pictures, and features the Rear Range Light Tower down at Boca Grande. The lizard I showed you the other day was shot just down the road from here.
I thought you might want to see the sunset from this evening. We've been getting pretty good ones since Ernesto blew through, but this was the first one I got the chance to capture.
For the last few days in August, here's a close-up of a fairly large flower. I don't remember what type of flower this is, maybe a zinnia? I have a vague memory of shooting it at Historic Spanish Point, down in Osprey, but it could really have come from anywhere.
