I'm leaning towards 1969 based on a book published that year with the same cover & story, but that's just a guess. And I saw different issues with different labels, I don't know which ones are original and which ones are reissues.Erniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02589056878160272070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11600065.post-69056583380179581812016-12-09T12:36:34.086-05:002016-12-09T12:36:34.086-05:00Ernie, do you know the release date for this recor...Ernie, do you know the release date for this record? So far I'm getting three different years for this record. I'm sure there's been reissues over the years, etc but I'm trying to find the date for this record.
Thanks for uploading some Bing Crosby, btw. Christmas wouldn't sound Christmas-y w/o some Bing!
Muff Diverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00589527136408204869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11600065.post-31585491688343873032016-12-08T21:35:58.531-05:002016-12-08T21:35:58.531-05:00I was given a non-Christmas story, World's Wor...I was given a non-Christmas story, World's Worst Wisher, on this label as a Christmas gift in the early 70s.
TupeloBrianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14161060281754714937noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11600065.post-54843944941813778312016-12-08T11:17:14.827-05:002016-12-08T11:17:14.827-05:00Well, half a tree is better than no tree! :)Well, half a tree is better than no tree! :)Erniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02589056878160272070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11600065.post-79940325883236146122016-12-08T11:00:44.106-05:002016-12-08T11:00:44.106-05:00Thanks so much for sharing! I have waited in vain for one of the thousands of artists making Christmas CDs to include it. Bing Crosby is the only major player in Christmas music to have recorded it, but that recording is excluded from all the collections of his Xmas recordings. I guess he and I are alone in our admiration for this song. Thanks for this 'original' version.

While I've got your eye, could you please re-upload Homer & Jethro's Ep, "Seasoned Greetings" at, if possible, a higher bit rate. The early versions are much better than those on their later Xmas album. You might also see if you can dig up all those wonderful Spike Jones RCA Christmas singles from the early 1950s. "Barnyard Christmas" is a hoot. Last request: Vincent Lopez's "Cute As Christmas." Thanks. You help make this time of year so much cheerier than the malls and radio stations.David Federmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08436365678466879799noreply@blogger.com
